Motion reels

A reel is a short vertical video assembled from scenes, built from the plan's faceless voiceover script: the one written to be read by a renderer rather than performed to camera.

How it is assembled

The voiceover script is broken into scenes. Each scene carries its own text and its own visual: stock footage or imagery, a generated image, or something you upload. Studio composes them into a vertical video with your brand's colours and type.

Preview is free; rendering is not

You can build and preview a reel without spending anything: the preview runs in the browser.

Rendering is the expensive step. It is real video encoding on a worker, and it spends generations: the most of any single action in the product. The figure is in generations.

This is why the free plan can preview a reel but has no render allowance at all. Export is the upgrade moment, and it is deliberate rather than an oversight.

Renders are capped per plan

Paid plans carry a monthly reel-render allowance. It is a finite number on every plan, including the largest: a dollar-cost action draws on a finite budget everywhere, by design.

If a render hangs

A render that has been stuck for more than about ten minutes is failed automatically and the generations it reserved are refunded. That safety net exists because the alternative (a lost webhook silently eating an expensive render) is the worst possible failure for a metered action.

Retry it. If it fails twice, see generation errors and retries.

Getting it out

A finished render downloads as a video file. TrendSuite does not publish reels to every network: check what your account can actually post to in platform support.
