Client approvals
The review queue that holds a post until a client decides: the three states, what the publish worker does, and how to turn it off.
Client approvals put a gate between "scheduled" and "published". A post awaiting a decision is not sent until someone approves it.
The three states

Only approved publishes. Everything else holds.
The queue
The approvals screen is the queue of what is waiting, what came back with comments, and what has been cleared. It is its own surface rather than a tab inside settings, because for an agency it is a daily working screen.
How a client reviews
Two ways:
- With a seat. A viewer on your team reviews in the app.
- Without an account. You send a review link: a private URL where they see the post and approve or request changes. No login, no seat, no cost.
The second is the normal case. Most clients will not create an account, and asking them to is how sign-off stalls for a week.
Changes requested
A decision of "changes requested" carries the client's comment back into the queue and keeps the post held. Edit it, and resubmit.
Turning it off
The setting that arms approvals for a brand lives on the approvals screen itself. This matters: if approvals are holding your posts, the off switch is on the page that is holding them, and that page stays reachable even for an account whose plan does not include the feature, so nobody can be locked out of their own queue.
