The clients board

The agency screen that answers which client needs you today, how it ranks them, and why every row is one sentence.

An agency running 25 client brands has 25 of everything: 25 queues, 25 sets of connections, 25 plans. The brand switcher lets you look at one of them. It cannot tell you which one to look at, and at that size the scarce thing is not access, it is attention.

The clients board answers exactly one question, and sorts by the answer: what needs me now.

Every row is one sentence

Not a row of chips, and not a table of names and start dates. A chip row makes you do the ranking. Fifty tidy rows with a contact and a start date tell you nothing about what to do on Tuesday.

So each client gets the single most urgent true thing, written as a sentence, and one click into that brand. A client with a broken Facebook connection and an empty queue has one thing to do first, so that is the only thing the row says.

How it ranks

The order is fixed, not alphabetical and not by date added. Roughly, from most to least urgent:

  1. Something is broken. A platform needs reconnecting, or the client withdrew access. Nothing else matters while posting cannot happen.
  2. A clock is running. The engagement has ended, and the row tells you the date the brand gets deleted.
  3. Setup never finished. Everything below this assumes a brand profile exists, because a plan is generated from the profile.
  4. The client is holding things up. Posts are waiting for sign-off, with how many and how long. "Sent, not opened yet" ranks above "waiting on the client" on purpose: if the link was never opened, chasing for a reply is the one action that cannot work, because the address may be wrong or the person may have left.
  5. Today is happening. Posts go out today.
  6. A gap. No content plan yet, nothing scheduled this week, or the client has no review link.
  7. Clear. Posts are scheduled this week and there is nothing to do.

Where it lives

The board is the first screen on the agency deployment, in place of the dashboard. It is not part of TrendSuite Lite or the standard full app, where a customer has one brand or a handful and the switcher already covers it. See which edition you are on.

Two of the things the board tracks, client review links and client sign-off, are Agency-plan features. If your plan does not include them, the board still works and those rows simply never appear. See review links and approvals.
