Finding your way around
The sidebar groups and why each surface sits where it does, plus the command palette and the active-brand chip.
The sidebar is grouped rather than listed. The groups are not alphabetical and they are not arbitrary: they follow the rhythm of the work. Look at how you are doing, make the thing, ship the thing, then answer the people it brought in.
The full app draws five of them, described next. TrendSuite Lite draws the same shape with fewer rows, so read that section for the map and on TrendSuite Lite for what is different. Which edition you are on is answered in which edition you are on.
The five groups, in the full app
Overview: Dashboard and Performance. Where you land, and how it went.
Create: Ideas, Content plans, Studio. The authoring path, in order.
Publish: Posts, Calendar, Client approvals. Everything between "it exists" and "it went out". Posting times sits under Posts, because it tunes how Posts behaves.
Audience: Inbox, Automations, Contacts, Broadcasts, Growth tools. The DM and automation suite. This group starts collapsed: it is one module wearing several rows, and it is a paid entitlement, so for many workspaces every row in it leads to the same gate.
Workspace: Brand & voice, Connected accounts, Settings, Affiliate. Set-once configuration. Also collapsed by default, because you visit Brand & voice hard during onboarding and rarely after.
A collapsed group is never a dead end. It says how many destinations it holds, it opens on click, and it opens itself whenever you are inside it, so you can never be somewhere the navigation is not showing you.
On TrendSuite Lite
Lite keeps the same grouped shape with fewer rows in it. Nothing is greyed out and no group is left standing empty: a group whose every row Lite leaves out is dropped whole, so the sidebar is shorter rather than hollow.
Lite also draws one row the full app does not, Auto reply, which is a one-sentence version of comment-to-DM.
Which rows those are, and why, is on which edition you are on. Everything else on this page applies to both editions.
Nesting
A row indented under another one is genuinely part of its parent, not merely related to it. Analytics under Automations measures your flows; Performance in Overview measures your posts. They are different measurements, which is why they have different names and sit in different groups.
On a phone
Below desktop widths the sidebar is replaced by a bottom bar carrying three destinations (Dashboard, Content plans and Calendar) plus More, which opens the full tree. The three are resolved against the same registry the sidebar uses, so the bar and the drawer beneath it cannot disagree about what exists; a destination your plan or edition does not include is absent from both.
The command palette
Ctrl/Cmd+K opens the palette. It reaches everything the sidebar draws plus the
destinations it does not: the composers (New post, New plan, New automation, New broadcast, New segment, New growth tool) and your
recap. If you know where you are going, this is faster than the sidebar.
The active brand
Each brand is its own workspace: its own profile, ideas, plans, posts and connected accounts. The chip in the topbar shows which one you are in and switches between them; it is also the shortest route to Brand & voice.
What you will not find
There are no disabled rows with a "soon" badge. A destination in the navigation is a place that exists and works. Features that are not built yet live on a roadmap, not in the chrome of every screen.
